For manufacturers

Manufacturer Quotes introduces ecommerce and Amazon brands to manufacturers that fit their requests. It is free for brands, and the brand deals with you directly: you quote it, and any order is between you and the brand. This page explains how your company may meet us: as a listing in our public directory, and as a manufacturer we suggest to a brand.

Listings

The directory is being built now, and these are the rules it follows. We list manufacturers from public information, and every fact shows its source and date. Listing is free. To correct a fact, or to remove your listing, email hello@manufacturerquotes.com from your company domain. If your company does not use email on its own domain, write from an address that your website lists; we may reply to that address to confirm before we act. Removal takes effect within 2 business days and is permanent unless you ask to be relisted.

A company appears only when enough of its facts come from sources we can cite, such as certification databases, government registries and the company's own website, and a second check has confirmed each sourced fact before it is shown. The methodology sets out the sources and checks.

What a listing never shows:

• A link to your website, or your web address as text.
• Contact details, or the names of your owners or staff.
• Ratings, verification badges, or claims that we have inspected or approved your company.

Every list of companies says that the companies are listed from public information, are not affiliated with Manufacturer Quotes and have not endorsed it. A listing does not mean you endorse us, and we do not say or imply that you do.

Correcting a fact

If a fact about your company is wrong, email hello@manufacturerquotes.com from your company domain and tell us which fact and what is correct. We suppress a disputed fact within 2 business days. You may give us a replacement for your own company's facts; we show it as stated by your company to us, with the date. The report an error page covers the details.

When a brand's request fits you

When a brand's request fits what your company makes, we may suggest you to the brand by name and send you a notice about the request, from hello@manufacturerquotes.com, to the contact address your company published or gave us: one your website publishes, or one you gave us after claiming your listing. The notice describes the request and tells you how to be introduced. It carries our business address, a link to manage or remove your listing (or, where we cannot send one, a way to do it by reply), and a way to stop these notices. If you use it, we stop. We send these notices only to that address, and when a brand asks to be introduced to you, we may give the brand that address.

The brand's name and contact details reach you only if the brand told us we may share them. Otherwise, reply to the notice and we introduce you once the brand asks to hear from you. From the introduction on, you deal with the brand directly: you quote it, and any sample, order, payment and shipment is between you and the brand. We take no fee on an introduction or an order.

We cannot promise how many requests any manufacturer will receive. We shortlist manufacturers on how well they fit each request, and a manufacturer that a brand asks about by name is included when it is eligible. Paying us never changes who we shortlist.

Featured placement

Featured placement is coming, and it is not on sale yet. It will be a monthly subscription, and wherever a Featured company appears, it carries the label "Featured, paid placement; editorial review unchanged." When a brand that gave us permission to share its details is shortlisted with a Featured company, that company may receive the details sooner than the others. Paying never changes who we shortlist for a request or the facts we show. The order basis is printed beside every list, and the methodology says where Featured companies appear and how that affects order. The price, the money-back window and how to cancel are set out in our terms of use. We will offer Featured placement only to companies that have claimed their listing or replied to us.

Order of listings

Lists of companies are ordered by the number of public sourced facts we hold for each, then by name from A to Z, and the basis is printed beside every list. The methodology says where Featured companies appear and how that affects order.
