Privacy notice

This notice covers manufacturerquotes.com, published by Manufacturer Quotes, of 1620 East Riverside Drive, Austin, TX 78741. It describes what the site actually collects. If that changes, we change this page before the change takes effect.

When you send a request

What you send us when you ask to be matched with manufacturers is saved in our database as one request. Depending on the form you use, it can include:

• your name, email address, company or brand, and company website;
• the country you are based in, as you tell us;
• what you want made and its product category, and the quantity, timing, where you would like it made, whether you need samples first, the certifications you need, target price, delivery country and postal code, and notes you choose to add;
• the listed manufacturer whose card or profile you came from, if you followed its link;
• your answer to whether you have made the product before;
• your answer to whether we may share your contact details with manufacturers, and the details of that choice set out below;
• the page you sent the request from, and any campaign tags in the link that brought you to the site (the utm_ labels an advertiser or newsletter adds to a link).

We use it to check that it is a genuine request, to find manufacturers that fit it, to email you the ones we suggest, to introduce you to them, and to follow up about the request. We do not use it for anything else.

Who sees your request

• The manufacturers we suggest. Each one learns what you want made, the quantity, the timing, where you would like it made, any samples or certifications you need and where the goods ship. It gets your name, email address, company and website only if you told us we may share them. A manufacturer that pays us for Featured placement may get them sooner than the others on your list. We are not paid per introduction.
• Our own team. When a request is saved, it is posted to a private channel in our Slack workspace so that a person sees it and can reply. The post carries your request as you entered it, including your email address, with long text shortened.

We do not publish your request or your contact details, and we do not sell, rent or share them for advertising.

Your choice about sharing

We name every manufacturer we suggest. We share your name and contact details with a manufacturer only if you tell us we may.

Where the request form asks the question, it offers two options. If you tell us you are based in the United States, the option to share is already selected and you can change it with one click; everywhere else, neither option is selected and you choose. If the form you used did not ask, we ask you by email before we share anything. With your answer we store whether the option was already selected when you saw it, the time, and the version of the wording you saw. The current version is v1-2026-09-29.

To withdraw permission later, email hello@manufacturerquotes.com from the address you used. We stop passing your details on from then on. We cannot recall an email a manufacturer already received, so we tell you which manufacturers have your details.

Companies we list

For a listed company we hold public facts about the company, each with its source and date, and a contact address the company published or gave us: one its own website publishes, or one it gave us after claiming its listing. We use that address only for notices about buyers' requests and about its listing and, when a buyer asks to be introduced to that company, to give it to that buyer. We never show that address on the site, and we do not collect the personal email addresses of a company's owners or staff, unless the company gives us one as its address for requests. If a company claims its listing, we keep the address it verifies with and the changes it makes.

Who processes data for us

• Vercel hosts the site. It receives each request to the site, including your internet address and browser details, to serve the page, and keeps its own request logs.
• Supabase runs our database, a hosted Postgres service, which stores requests and listings.
• Google Workspace and Gmail run our hello@ mailbox, which sends and stores our email with buyers and manufacturers.
• Slack carries the internal notice of each new request, described above.
• OpenAI provides an AI model that may screen a request for spam before we reply to it. When it does, the model receives what you wrote about the product and any notes, your company name and website, the product category and quantity you picked, and the part of your email address after the @. It does not receive your name or your full email address. It only labels the request as genuine, unclear or spam, and nothing it writes is sent to you or to a manufacturer.
• Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics count visits, described under analytics below.

One more will apply only once the feature that uses it launches, and we will update this page before then. Stripe will process the payments manufacturers make for Featured placement; card details would go to Stripe on its own checkout page and never reach our servers.

Limiting repeat submissions

To stop automated floods, the request form accepts at most five requests from one internet address in an hour. For each accepted request we store the address it came from (for the newer address format, only its network prefix, the first half of the address), with the time and nothing else. That record is not stored with your request. Only the last hour's records count toward the limit, and records more than a day old are deleted from time to time as new requests come in.

Analytics

• Google Analytics counts visits, sees which pages are read and counts requests. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google details such as the pages you view, your browser and device, and a rough location. When you click a link to the request form, it tells Google which link it was, such as the header button or a manufacturer's card, and the page it is on. On the step-by-step request form it also tells Google when you start answering and each step you reach, by the step's name and number, never your answers. When a request is saved, it tells Google that a request was sent, with the page you sent it from, the product category (the one you chose, or on the shorter form the one the link you followed named), and the listed manufacturer whose page you came from, if any. It never sends your name, email address, company or anything you typed into the form. Google processes this under its own privacy policy.
• Ahrefs Web Analytics measures page visits for the same purpose.

You can block these analytics with your browser's cookie and content settings or a blocker, and the site still works, including the request form. The form's own record of campaign tags uses your browser's session storage, which clears when you close the tab; it is not a cookie. The site loads its fonts from its own server, and we do not use advertising pixels.

How long we keep it

We keep a request and the email about it for as long as it may matter to an introduction you asked for or to our accounts. If you email us without using the form, we keep your message and address in the same way. If you ask us to delete your data, we will, unless the law requires us to keep part of it.

For each contact address a listed company publishes on its own website, we also keep the evidence that it published it (the page's address and a fingerprint of its text, the date we read it, the label beside the address, and, for captures recorded on the twenty-ninth of September, twenty twenty-six, a short excerpt around the address with any other names, phone numbers and addresses removed; for captures recorded after that, the label is cut down to its label words, and the excerpt is only the line of the page that shows the address, cut down to the address, the words that label it, such as "Sales" or "Email", and the company's own name as it appears in the address), because it shows the address was offered for business enquiries. We keep that evidence while the company is listed and for three years after that, or for three years after the last email we send to that address if that is later.

Your choices

Email hello@manufacturerquotes.com from the address you used, and we will send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw permission to share your details, as described above, or tell us to stop emailing you about a request, at any time. We reply within 7 days.

The site is for businesses, and it is not directed at children.
