Manufacturer Quotes introduces ecommerce and Amazon brands to manufacturers. You tell us what you want made. We look for manufacturers that make it, overseas first, and introduce you to the ones that fit, each one named. They quote you directly, and any order is between you and the manufacturer.

It is free for brands: no subscription and no fee per introduction. Manufacturers will be able to pay for Featured placement once we offer it, and paying never changes who we suggest.

  1. We read your request and email you from hello@manufacturerquotes.com if anything is missing, such as materials, size, packaging or the finish you want.
  2. We look for manufacturers that make your product, overseas first, in countries such as China, Vietnam, India and Mexico. If you ask for US-made, we look in the US.
  3. By the end of the next business day, we email you the manufacturers that fit your request, each one named. Then we introduce you by email.
  4. The manufacturers quote you directly, and you decide. It is free for brands and commits you to nothing; any order is between you and the manufacturer.

What does it cost to request quotes?

Nothing. It is free for brands and commits you to nothing: no subscription, no fee per introduction and no fee on your order. The manufacturers quote you their own prices. Manufacturers will be able to pay us for Featured placement once we offer it; that never changes who we suggest.

What should I put in a request?

What you want made, described in a few lines: materials, size, finish and packaging. A rough description is enough to start. The form also asks how many units your first order needs, where you would like it made, when you plan to order, where your business is based, and your name and email. Have a spec sheet, tech pack or photo? Add its link under Anything else on the last step. We read it there; share it with manufacturers once you are introduced.

Who do I pay, and when?

The manufacturer, and only if you order, on the payment terms you agree with it. We never take payment for goods, and getting matched costs you nothing.

How it works

Who pays the import duty?

Usually you. On most quotes from overseas factories, you, or the customs broker you hire, clear the goods through customs and pay the duties, taxes and fees. A quote on delivered duty paid (DDP) terms is the exception: the seller imports the goods for you, and its price should say so.

Import duty and landed cost

What does MOQ mean?

MOQ stands for minimum order quantity: the smallest order a supplier will accept for one product. The US government's export planning guide lists it among a producer's capacity questions: What minimum order quantity is required?[9] For a brand, the MOQ sets the cash you need for a first order and much of your cost per unit.

Is Alibaba legit?

Yes. Alibaba.com is a legitimate business platform, but by its own terms it is not a party to your order and is not responsible for the products. Whether an order goes well depends on the supplier you choose, how precisely you write the order, and whether you pay through Alibaba.com[2] so its buyer protection applies.
